Become a Smarty Pants Tutor
Knowledgeable or excel in a certain subject? Wanting to help teach a student helping them grow? Become a Smartypants tutor! Assist a student in learning more about a subject through your expertise.
This program is focused on helping each student become their best selves.
With the current epidemic our team wants to help students be able to have
more one on one time by providing support to students with their homework,
& their understanding of classes they are currently struggling in.
This program will allow mentors to expand upon leadership skills while sharing their passion
for art and design by mentoring creative teens. While working with the program mentors will:
Meet with teens once a week after school.
Engage with mentees in a project or workshop, helping them to refine their skills and find creative solutions to challenges. Encourage students to use their creative talents in
everything from illustration to photography to create, revise, and complete their own projects.
Support and document the creative, behavioral, and skill development of young learners.
Help mentees to value their creative skills in ways that are applicable to future careers.
Prepare and run creative projects while maintaining a fun and safe environment.
